NürnbergMesse has reported record growth in exhibitor and visitor numbers since the addition of Hall 3A, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, in 2014. Following this success, Zaha Hadid has now begun construction of a further hall, 3C.
Continuing the successful principles of Hall 3A, the new hall features a trapezoid-shaped, 10,000-square-meter floor plan that varies in length from 95 to 145 meters. An inclined roof will offer acoustic benefits as well as reductions in energy consumption and emissions, while 3,000 square meters of glazed façades will enable natural light to penetrate deep into the hall.
Due for completion at the end of 2018, the new hall is a welcome addition, offering greater opportunities for our clients exhibiting at the Spielwarenmesse. The Spielwarenmesse, which takes place in February, is the world’s largest international trade fair for toys and games, and space is always at a premium.
